Maffin has been working with the principals of Active Assets over the past three months on the company’s Internet strategy, focusing on live, on-line auctions and liquidations of corporate assets. He will continue to consult with the company’s technical and on-line marketing teams as the web site is readied for activation.

Maffin is the founder and president of InvestorTrack.com, a subscription-based Internet service for the retail and institutional investment community.
