The Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) has confirmed that SEDAR+ will launch on July 25, after delaying a planned June launch earlier this month.

SEDAR+ will consolidate several of the regulators’ existing databases, including SEDAR, the national cease-trade order database, and the disciplined list.

SEDAR will no longer be available for filing as of 11 p.m. ET on July 20, and the CSA anticipates SEDAR+ will be available for filing at 7 a.m. ET on July 25. In July, regulators will issue a notice and similar blanket orders to support filing during that transition period.

The new fee model adopted alongside SEDAR+ took effect on June 9 as planned.

The regulators intend to roll the rest of their filing systems, including the System for Electronic Disclosure by Insiders and the National Registration Database, into future versions of SEDAR+.
