The FundGrade A+ Award is given annually to investment funds and managers who have shown consistent, outstanding, risk-adjusted performance through the year, based on up to 10 years of history.

Dynamic Funds and Sun Life Assurance Co., both based in Toronto, each received 23 awards, which were bestowed on a combination of mutual funds and seg funds.

Toronto-based CI Investment Inc. was recognized with awards for 21 of its mutual and segregated funds.

“The need for absolutely reliable performance data and a truly objective rating system has never been greater,” says Janny Vincent, resident and CEO of Fundata, in a release.

“We take pride in the fact that the FundGrade A+ Award has been embraced by our industry as a truly independent and objective benchmark, and an acknowledgement of superior fund performance,” Vincent adds.
