Canada Life is introducing Generations I, a product that offers a full range of segregated funds and interest-bearing investment options with lower fees than most traditional segregated funds.

Generations I builds on the strength of the Canada Life Generations platform and gives financial advisors access to a broader target client base.

“This new lineup positions segregated funds as more than just a niche product,” commented Alf Goodall, Canada Life’s vp, individual retirement and investment services marketing, in a news release.

“Generations I provides a choice for financial advisors whose clients are interested in mutual funds, but who want the features and guarantees of segregated fund contracts – with competitive fees.”

This new segregated fund and interest-bearing investment options product meets a need in the marketplace for a wide range of clients. Generations I provides financial advisors with diversity and choice while keeping it simple. The new product has the same funds, investment managers and processes as Generations. The differentiating factors are cost, guarantees and features.

Canada Life, together with affiliates London Life and Great-West Life, manages over $18 billion in segregated funds assets for individual clients across Canada.
