Advisors at Burlington, Ont.-based Aligned Capital Partners now have access to a new digital training platform.

Through a partnership with Toronto-based digital education provider Learnedly, the wealth firm has introduced “a corporate-wide training solution” that’s accessible on multiple devices, a Tuesday release said.

“Advisor training is something very important for our industry to get behind,” said Christopher Enright, president and managing director at Aligned Capital Partners, in the release. “Learnedly has created the opportunity for us to modernize our approach to advisor proficiency.”

John Waldron, founder of Learnedly, said the educational platform can help with regular licensing requirements and continuing education, as well as newer requirements, such as the client-focused reforms.

“On top of that, more advisors are becoming dual-licensed and obtaining multiple designations, in order to grow their business and remain competitive. It’s more important now, than ever before, that education is available and accessible for Canadian financial professionals,” Waldron said.

Aligned Capital employs more than 200 registered individuals and has $10 billion in assets under administration.
