CI Financial Corp. announced a new partnership agreement with Toronto-based d1g1t Inc. on Wednesday.

The agreement will see CI deploy d1g1t’s enterprise wealth management platform across its advisory businesses. The platform, which allows organizations to share real-time intelligence about clients, portfolios and the business, is powered by “institutional-grade analytics and risk management tools,” according to a release.

CI will also make an equity investment in d1g1t equivalent to 9.5% of the company. Darie Urbanky, president and chief operating officer of CI, will join d1g1t’s board of directors.

“The future of wealth management will involve the combination of human advisors enabled by best-in-class technology,” Urbanky said in a release. “We’ve been looking for the right platform for a while and are very excited to partner with d1g1t’s experienced team.”
