The Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) is looking for volunteers to serve on its industry committee that provides the regulator with input from the perspective of dealers, fund managers and other registered firms.

The OSC is seeking members for its Registrant Advisory Committee (RAC), which is comprised of between 10 and 12 representatives from various registration categories. The committee is chaired by Debra Foubert, director, compliance and registrant regulation, at the OSC.

The committee “serves as a forum to discuss issues and challenges faced by registrants in interpreting and complying with Ontario securities law, including registration and compliance related matters,” the regulator said in a release, adding that it also provides the OSC with feedback on policy development.
