The Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) is seeking volunteers to serve on its continuous disclosure advisory committee, the regulator announced on Monday.

The committee provides advice to OSC staff on “the planning, implementation and communication of its continuous disclosure review program,” policy initiatives and emerging issues in this area, the OSC says in a news release.

The committee consists of 10 to 15 members with “extensive knowledge of continuous disclosure issues and a strong interest in related policy.” It meets approximately five times per year, and is currently chaired by Sonny Randhawa, deputy director of the OSC’s corporate finance branch.

The deadline for applications from prospective committee members is May 28.
