The Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) are receiving applications for membership on their investor advisory panel, the regulators said in a release on Thursday.

The panel will complement the work of the provincial regulators’ existing investor panels, and will advise the CSA as it develops policies and rules.

The regulators said they’re looking for diversity among potential panellists in such things as personal experience and geography. Further, applicants should have experience related to investment advisory, public policy, consumer associations or research.

The CSA will appoint seven to 11 applicants to the panel for staggered terms of up to three years, and terms are renewable once.

The deadline to apply is April 11.
