Toronto-based Fidelity Investments Canada ULC launched a suite of five fixed-income funds, available as both ETFs and ETF mutual funds (F-class and B-class), in September.

The funds are: Fidelity Global Core Plus Bond ETF and ETF fund, which are actively managed and invest in investment-grade and high-yield securities from around the world; Fidelity Canadian Short-Term Corporate Bond ETF and ETF fund, also actively managed and which invest in Canadian corporate fixed-income securities with an average term of maturity of five years or less; Fidelity Systematic U.S. High Yield Bond ETF and ETF fund, which invest primarily in U.S. high-yield securities; Fidelity Systematic U.S. High Yield Bond Currency Neutral ETF and ETF fund, which also invest in U.S. high-yield securities, but aim to minimize exposure to currency fluctuations; and Fidelity Systematic Canadian Bond Index ETF and ETF fund, which replicate the performance of a proprietary index and invest in investment-grade government and corporate bonds.
