Toronto-based WisdomTree Asset Management Canada Inc. has launched an actively managed North American fixed income ETF, the investment manager announced Friday.

The ONE North American Core Plus Bond ETF (ONEB) begins trading today on the Toronto Stock Exchange, WisdomTree Canada says in a news release.

ONEB invests in North American fixed income securities issued by corporations, governments (federal and state/provincial) and government-related entities and agencies through direct purchases and/or ETFs.

It is advised by Westlake Village, Calif.-based One Capital Management, LLC (OCM), which will employ an actively managed strategy “utilizing proprietary fundamental credit research and analysis,” WisdomTree Canada says. OCM will also direct the currency hedging strategy.

The management fee for the new ETF is 0.55%.

“We’re thrilled to continue the expansion of our ETF lineup and provide Canadian investors increased access to actively managed fixed income strategies,” Kurt MacAlpine, WisdomTree executive vice president and global head of distribution, says in a statement.
