TD Canada Trust and Bank of Nova Scotia have lowered mortgage rates, effective April 7, the banks said Monday.
TD is dropping its rates by 10 to 30 basis points.
For example, the rate for a 1-year closed mortgage drops by 30 bps to 4.20%.
Scotiabank is also trimming its rates by 10 to 30 bps.
The rate for a 1-year closed mortgage drops by 25 bps to 5%.
