(January 7 – 09:40 ET) – BLC-Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management ‘s new R Funds are now available through advisors, brokers, and at any of the 200 branches of the Laurentian Bank of Canada.
The 13 R Funds, include six 100% RRSP-eligible foreign funds that clone underlying R funds. The funds offer three regional funds, investing in the U.S., Europe and Asia, as well as the R Techno-Media, R Life & Health, and R World Leaders funds. It also offers a money market fund.
Rothschild recently introduced the funds at Marketing Solutions’ Advisors Forum. It has invested $35 million in the funds to get them going here in Canada.
BLC-Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management is joint venture of the Laurentian Bank and the Paris-based La Compagnie Financière Edmond de Rothschild Banque. The arrangement was announced in September.
