(May 1 – 15:20 ET) Sheridan Reilly has joined Mackenzie Investment Management Inc. of Boca Raton Fla., as a portfolio manager. As well, the U.S. fund arm of Toronto-based Mackenzie Financial Corp. will reopen the Ivy International Fund to new U.S. investors.

Sheridan Reilly will serve as senior vice president and chief investment officer of international equities of MIMI. Reilly joins Ivy Mackenzie from Scudder Kemper Investments where he served as head of the institutional international equities team. He managed the Scudder International Growth and Income Fund, the Kemper International Growth and Income Fund and the AARP International Stock Fund. In addition he was part of the team that managed the Scudder International Fund.

Hakan Castegren, who has managed the Ivy International Fund since its inception in 1986, has resigned from the account. Ivy Mackenzie has US$7 billion in assets under management.
