(December 13 – 09:40 ET) – Just in time for Christmas the Guardian Group of Funds is launching two new 100% RSP-eligible foreign funds: the Guardian RSP Global Equity Fund and the Guardian RSP American Equity Fund.

The new funds use forward contracts to mimic the underlying funds. The Guardian RSP Global Equity Fund mines Europe, the U.S., U.K., Japan and Asia for stocks. The fund is managed by Dresdner RCM Global Investors of London, using a bottom-up growth style. The Guardian RSP American Equity Fund follows a value style, managed by New York-based Lazard Asset Management.

Guardian now offers 28 mutual funds and manages more than $2.1 billion in
mutual fund assets.
