(January 10 – 10:00 ET) – FundScope’s latest fund family ratings are available today based on data updated to November 30, 1999. Fundscope is a mutual fund rating agency. It ‘s atings are based on a formula that considers cost, choice, consistency and “investor reward,” an asset allocation measure that some fund companies use to gauge their own performance.

Suzane Abboud, FundScope’s president, says her company is “the only agency to take the initiative of developing a quantitative, objective model for rating mutual fund companies”. In addition to the fund family ratings FundScope also publishes a one-page profile of the top rated mutual fund companies, including comparative data on asset trends and market share.
