Toronto-based CI Investments Inc. announced some changes to the portfolio management teams on some of its mutual funds on Tuesday.

Cambridge Global Asset Management, a team within CI, will now oversee US Equity Alpha Corporate Class and a portion of the following multi-manager funds: Select U.S. Equity Managed Corporate Class, Select U.S. Equity Managed Fund, Select International Equity Managed Corporate Class and Select International Equity Managed Fund.

The changes will unfold in two phases, with the Select International Equity Managed funds slated to come under Cambridge’s management first, on or about April 15. The U.S. funds will fall under Cambridge’s oversight on or about June 15.

Cambridge, a 15-person investment team that operates in Toronto and Boston, will replace Tetrem Capital Management as advisor of the affected funds. Tetrem will continue to manage CI’s other mandates, namely CI Canadian Investment Fund and CI Canadian Investment Corporate Class.

In other news, Altrinsic Global Advisors, which specializes in global equity investing, will act as subadvisor to CI’s Signature International Fund and Signature International Corporate Class, on or about April 15. These two funds will be renamed CI International Fund and CI International Corporate Class, respectively.
