(June 28 – 17:35 ET) – University Avenue Financial Corp. says that the Canadian Venture Exchange has halted trading in its common shares pending its review of University’s proposed acquisition of @rgentum Management & Research Corp. The acquisition was announced last week.

The rules of CDNX provide for a halt in trading where listed issuers seek to make fundamental acquisitions such as University Avenue’s proposed acquisition of @rgentum.

CDNX is in the process of reviewing the information relating to the proposed acquisition and trading will resume once their queries have been satisfied.
