(January 5 – 11:10 ET) – C.I. Fund Management Inc. have made portfolio management changes to the BPI American Small Companies Fund and the BPI Global Small Companies Fund effective December 31,
1999.

Scott Morrison of C.I. will become lead portfolio manager for the BPI American Small Companies Fund (net assets of $128.7 million as at December 29, 1999), replacing BPI Global Asset Management LLP (BGAM) which managed the Fund’s portfolio since March 31, 1997.

Andrew Waight of C.I. will become lead portfolio manager for the BPI Global Small Companies Fund (net assets of $96.8 million as at December 29, 1999), also replacing BGAM which managed the Fund’s portfolio since March 31, 1997.
