(January 14 – 11:00 ET) – C.I. Mutual Funds Inc. and Transamerica Life Insurance Company of Canada have added six clone funds to the lineup of C.I. Guaranteed Investment Funds, bringing their total to 23.
These additional funds are based on some of the most popular BPI Mutual Funds. They include three foreign equity funds, two 100% RSP-eligible foreign equity funds, and one Canadian income fund. BPI Mutual Funds became part of the C.I. family following the acquisition of BPI Financial Corporation in August 1999.
The new funds are BPI American Equity Value GIF, BPI American Equity RSP GIF, BPI Global Equity Value GIF, BPI Global Equity RSP GIF, BPI International Equity Value GIF, and BPI High Income GIF.
The C.I. GIF lineup now includes six foreign funds that are 100% eligible for registered plans, reflecting industry leadership of this product category both in funds offered and product design.
