Segal Rogerscasey Canada, a global investment firm serving institutional asset owners and financial services firms, Tuesday announced several executive appointments in the firm’s Toronto office.

Ruo Tan has been named president. Tan joined the firm in 2010 as senior vice oresident and since then he has focused on expanding investment research, relationship management and client services. Prior to joining Segal Rogerscasey Canada, Tan had many years of senior-level experience in investment management with several large financial institutions in Canada. He holds a Ph.D. in Operations Research from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from McMaster University’s Michael G. DeGroote School of Business. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, and is a registered Advisor – Portfolio Manager across Canada.

Kathleen Pabla has joined the firm as vice president and director of research. Pabla has more than 20 years of experience in the Canadian investment business. Most recently, she was director of investment research and analysis in investment management services for Manulife Financial in Toronto. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst and was previously registered as a portfolio manager across Canada.

Nino Boezio has joined as the firm as vice president, portfolio strategist and consultant. He has over 25 years of experience in investment strategy and research, portfolio advisory and governance, and pension and investment consulting. Most recently, he worked in the managed products area for TD Bank Group where he provided his expertise in asset allocation and investment/insurance product review/oversight, in addition to business development. Boezio is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
