Toronto-based 1832 Asset Management LP has announced that Rory Ronan has joined the firm as vice president and portfolio manager.

Ronan will be appointed co-portfolio manager on several Dynamic Funds and ScotiaFunds mandates, and will work closely with Don Simpson, vice president and portfolio manager who will remain lead portfolio manager on the funds.

Ronan has more than 20 years of investment industry experience and was recently a senior portfolio manager with Toronto-based CIBC Asset Management Inc.
