(February 26 – 12:00 ET) – Royal Bank Financial has tagged Charles (Chuck) Winograd to be vice chairman, Corporate & Investment Banking and a member of its group management committee, effective April 1.

Winograd will also become chief executive officer of RBC Dominion Securities on April 1.

Winograd joined Richardson Securities of Canada, in Winnipeg in 1971. After a lengthy career in research and progressively senior positions, he was appointed president and CEO of Richardson Greenshields in 1987 and chairman and CEO in 1991. In 1996, upon the merger with RBC DS, Winograd became deputy chairman, later becoming president and COO in 1998.

Winograd has a B.A. from the University of Manitoba, and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario. He is also a chartered financial analyst.
