Richmond Savings, Surrey Metro
Savings and Gulf &
Fraser credit unions today said
they are in talks to merge.
The credit unions said a merger
would create a financially strong
institution while retaining their
community identities and the
service values upon which they
were founded.
“The merger discussions
originally involved Richmond
Savings and Gulf & Fraser and
have been ongoing since July of
this year. Surrey Metro Savings
has now been invited to join those
discussions,” the credit unions
said.
