RBC Capital Markets announced Monday that Myles Zyblock will join RBC Capital Markets as chief North American institutional strategist, effective April 9. Zyblock will focus on sector, themes, and style strategy.
“Myles has considerable expertise in the North American financial markets and will offer our clients a true North American perspective on investing,” said Steve Garmaise, global jead of research, RBC Capital Markets. “Myles will work closely with RBC Capital Markets’ highly regarded research team to service both Canadian and U.S. clients with his well-regarded style and sector work.”
Zyblock has spent the past two years as head of U.S. equity portfolio strategy at the venerable Wall Street firm Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) in New York. Before joining BBH, Zyblock worked for three years at the Bank Credit Analyst Research Group in Montreal as head of global equity sector strategy, where he created and led the firm’s first global equity allocation strategy by sector and by country.
Previously Zyblock spent four years as an economist for the Government of Canada, latterly as senior financial economist with the Ministry of Finance.
