San-Mateo, Calif.-based Franklin Resources Inc., operating as Franklin Templeton Investments, is launching a year-long pilot program with New York-based Ellevate Network to accelerate the professional development of its female employees, the company announced Tuesday.

The program will see Ellevate provide the Franklin Templeton’s female employees with access to a community of professional women and online educational resources, to support their professional development.

“We are excited to work with Ellevate to provide our female employees with access to a network of professional, talented and successful women with whom they can share ideas and experiences,” says Sherry Dondo, vice president of talent development at Franklin Templeton.

“As we look to build and empower female leaders at the firm, we view opportunities such as this as an investment in our people, which we are confident benefits both Franklin Templeton and our clients,” she adds.
