The Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) reported late Thursday that Evergreen Capital Partners Inc.that it intends to cease operations effective immediately.

Evergreen is an employee-owned, full service brokerage firm serving institutional investors in Canada. It has offices in Toronto an Calgary.

IIROC says it will be working with the firm to ensure that clients have access to their accounts and for the orderly wind-down of the firm’s operations.
