Cunningham Lindsey Group Inc. today announced today that Cunningham Lindsey Europe BV has acquired 100% of the outstanding shares of Barlow CCS in Spain, through the merger of Barlow with its Spanish subsidiary, Cunningham Lindsey Iberica.

“This acquisition represents an important step in our development of the Spanish market,” said Jan Christiansen, Cunningham Lindsey president and CEO. “We are convinced of the great potential that the acquisition represents, not only because many of our existing clients have operations in Spain, but also because Spanish clients have developed operations outside Spain, both in Europe and South America.”

The name of the merged entity is Cunningham Lindsey Barlow S.L. The acquisition combines the professional reputation of John Barlow and his team with the global strength of Cunningham Lindsey and further enhances Cunningham Lindsey’s global reach and ability to serve clients both in the domestic market in Spain and abroad.

Through its subsidiaries, Cunningham Lindsey provides a wide range of independent insurance claims services, including claims adjusting, appraisal and claims and risk management services. It has a worldwide network of branches in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, continental Europe, the Far East, Latin America and the Middle East.
