Today’s OSC Bulletin reports that the Ontario Minister of Finance has approved the assorted rules and amendments to existing rules to implement the national prospectus disclosure regime.

Along with the new rules and amendments, the regulator also rescinded various policies and staff notices that cover this same ground. The various rule changes take effect on March 17.

The new rules and amendments were published in a supplement to the OSC Bulletin on December 21, 2007. It notes that the other CSA jurisdictions have subsequently made changes to certain provisions of the national rules, and those changes are reflected in this latest publication, also in a supplement.
