The Mutual Fund Dealers Association has appointed two new members to its policy advisory committee.

The MFDA issued a bulletin to advise of the appointment of two new members of the MFDA Policy Advisory Committee. Thet are Robert Malcolm from Legacy Associates Inc. and Archie Sullivan of Manulife Securities International Ltd.

These individuals have recently been appointed as Regional Council Chairs in the Atlantic and Pacific regions, the MFDA reports, and are ex officio members of the PAC.

They join Darcy Lake of BMO Investments Inc., Ian Moorhouse from Independent Accountants’ Investment Group, Christopher Marrese with Clarica Investco Inc., Don Keller from Coast Capital Investments, David Cheop with Investors Group Financial Services Inc., Frank Laferriere of Berkshire Investment Group Inc., Jeanne Beverly with TD Investment Services Inc., and Terry Ford of Partners in Planning Financial Services Ltd.

The MFDA Policy Advisory Committee provides advice, comments and reports to MFDA staff on a variety of matters including regulatory and policy initiatives and industry trends and practices. Its members are selected with a view to ensuring that the committee is reasonably representative of MFDA membership.
