The Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) is withdrawing all allegations of regulatory contravention against a Vancouver broker.

The decision by IIROC staff’ was based upon a reassessment of the case against David Anthony Lenec, IIROC said in a release.

On June 2, an IIROC hearing panel in Vancouver adjourned the disciplinary proceeding against Lenec by consent to a date yet to be determined.

By consent between IIROC and Lenec, the settlement agreement dated June 1, is also withdrawn.

IIROC formally initiated the investigation into the Lenec’s conduct on May 17, 2006.

The alleged violations occurred when he was a registered representative (RR) with the 1055 Dunsmuir Street Branch of Research Capital Corp. in Vancouver. Lenec is currently with Research Capital.
