The Securities and Exchange Commission Friday named Meyer Eisenberg acting director of its division of investment management.
Eisenberg has served as deputy general counsel for the commission since 1998. He has served as the principal liaison between the office of general counsel and the division of investment management on all matters involving investment advisors, investment companies, their service providers, and their distributors, the SEC said.
The previous director, Paul Roye, announced his intention to leave the SEC in February.
