A hearing on insider-trading charges against ATI Technologies Inc. chairman Kwok Yuen Ho and three others has been adjourned until next month, the Ontario Securities Commission said Wednesday.

The OSC said the hearing in the matter of Ho, Betty Ho, Jo-Anne Chang and David Stone has been adjourned to April 11.

The OSC postponed the hearing after defence lawyers said the case has been changed by a settlement between the company and the regulator.

ATI Technologies Inc. was reprimanded Tuesday by the OSC and ordered to pay $900,000 in a case centring on disclosure of a sales and profit slowdown.

The commission alleged ATI executives knew in April 2000 that the company would miss its sales and earnings forecast, but delayed informing investors and the public.
