To qualify, recipients must be a longstanding volunteer with the FPSC as well as be working actively to support the advancement of professional standards for certified financial planners. The deadline to submit nominations for this distinction is June 9.

Recipients will be honoured at an evening reception on Nov. 21 in Toronto, which takes place during financial planning week.

In addition, the FPSC is calling for nominations for the Donald J. Johnston Lifetime Achievement Award in Financial Planning, which are being accepted at any time. The award recognizes individuals who have worked to advance the profession throughout their career and takes its name from Don Jonston, who laid the groundwork for FPSC’s development.
