Toronto-based Vanguard Investments Canada Inc. has launched its first suite of actively managed mutual funds in Canada. Vanguard Global Balanced Fund invests primarily in a combination of equities and fixed-income securities issued by global issuers. Vanguard Global Dividend Fund focuses on dividend-paying equities issued by companies located around the world. Vanguard Windsor U.S. Value Fund invests mostly in stocks issued by large- and mid-capitalization companies in the U.S. that are considered to be undervalued. Vanguard International Growth Fund looks for companies located outside Canada and the U.S. Each of the four mutual funds has a flexible management fee that is based on the fund’s performance, to a maximum of 0.5%. Initially, the funds will have management fees of 0.38%, 0.34%, 0.35%,and 0.4%, respectively, from June 25, 2018, to June 30, 2019. For full fund details, visit Vanguardcanada.ca.
