Toronto-based RBC Global Asset Management Inc. is bringing together its socially responsible investing (SRI) funds to create a new suite of mutual funds called RBC Vision Funds. The move involves the grouping and renaming of a Phillips Hager & North SRI fund with RBC Jantzi funds to create a single, cohesive SRI product shelf. As part of the realignment, the following funds have been renamed: Phillips Hager & North Community Values Bond Fund now is RBC Vision Bond Fund; RBC Jantzi Balanced Fund now is RBC Vision Balanced Fund; RBC Jantzi Canadian Equity Fund now is RBC Vision Canadian Equity Fund; and RBC Jantzi Global Equity Fund now is RBC Vision Global Equity Fund. As part of these funds’ mandates, each uses SRI criteria to screen its portfolio holdings to allow unitholders to align their investments with their environmental and social values.
