Toronto-based CI Investments Inc. launched CI MSCI World ESG Impact Fund and CI First Asset MSCI World ESG Impact ETF in September.

The mutual fund seeks to provide long-term capital growth by investing in companies with a positive impact on environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors.

The fund will invest most or all of its assets in unhedged common units of the ETF.

The ETF, which trades on the NEO Exchange, tracks the MSCI world ESG select impact ex-fossil fuels index, which focuses on large- to mid-cap companies across the globe that have a positive impact on ESG factors.

For the A-class units of the mutual fund, advisor commissions for front-end sales are 0%-5% and trailing commissions are 0%-1%.

The fund’s management fee is 1.55% for A-class units, and the minimum investment is $500.

The ETF’s management fee is 0.55%.
