On Monday, StatsCan is scheduled to release data on building permits for April.
Separately, the Ivey Purchasing Managers’ Index for May will be unveiled.
On Wednesday, StatsCan releases info on housing starts for May.
Thursday brings reports on labour productivity for the first quarter, capacity utilization for the first quarter, and the new housing price index for April.
On Friday, in addition to the May employment report, StatsCan will report on the merchandise trade balance for April.
South of the border, wholesale trade figures for April will be released Wednesday.
On Thursday, the U.S. Labor Department will report on initial jobless claims for the week of June 4th.
Friday brings a report on the goods and services trade balance for April.
The earnings calendar looks light for the coming week.
Leitch Technology has confirmed it will release earnings on Tuesday. Forzani Group Ltd. reports Wednesday, while Trans A.T. Inc. reports Thursday.
