(December 22 – 11:30 ET) – The Investment Funds Institute of Canada has issued a memorandum detailing the holiday schedules for several major stock exchanges.

The Toronto Stock Exchange and Canadian Venture Exchange will be closed on December 25 and 26, open December 29, and closed on January 1 and 2.

The Montreal Exchange will be closed December 25 and 26, open December 29, and closed January 1. The offices of the ME will be closed on January 2, but trading in interest rate derivatives and stock options will resume.

The New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq will be closed December 25, open December 26 and 29, closed January 1 and open January 2.

According to information published on the FundSERV Web site, FundSERV will not operate trading on December 25 and 26, and January 1.
