(March 17 – 13:30 ET) – The Members of The Winnipeg Stock Exchange have endorsed a proposal to consolidate its trading and listing services with those of the Canadian Venture Exchange (CDNX).

The Members will now formally request that the Manitoba Securities Commission work with the province to make necessary amendments to The Winnipeg Stock Exchange Act and other provincial legislation. The MSC will have to work with other securities regulators to ensure that the necessary regulatory approvals are in place.
