The TSX Group announced last week that it has hired Opsis Communications & Marketing Inc. as their public relations agency of record for the Quebec market.

Opsis will counsel the Toronto Stock Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange on strategic and public relations issues in Quebec.

Robert Pattillo, vice president, Public Affairs and Communications, TSX Group said the company looked at six potential agencies and made Opsis its final choice based on their deep knowledge of the Quebec market, on the strength of their consulting resources and the quality of their presentation.

Based in Montreal, Opsis was founded in 1994.
