In another step to rationalize regulatory programs, TSE Regulation Services and CDNX Market Regulation have merged their Trade Desk Review programs.

As a result, compliance officers will review all of a firm’s trading for both exchanges during a single Trade Desk Review. It is intended that the combined TSE-CDNX reviews will result in most firms receiving only one review rather than two.

The exchanges say this should result in more cost effective reviews and fewer visits to each firm.
