The Toronto Stock Exchange’s
yearly trading value passed
$494 billion* today – establishing
an all-time yearly record. This is
the seventh consecutive year the
TSE has surpassed the yearly
trading record. Since 1993 trading
value on the TSE has jumped more
than 236 percent.

Shares traded and transactions
are also at all-time yearly highs.
So far more than 27 billion shares
have changed hands in more than 16
million transactions.
