Thomson Financial, a leading provider of information and technology solutions to the worldwide financial community, launched Thomson First Call Events today.

Thompson hails it as “the most comprehensive, timely and accurate calendar of corporate events.”

Institutional money managers and investor relations professionals can use First Call Events to quickly access earnings releases and conference call event details. There will also be live and archived corporate webcasts, live conference calls, transcripts and summaries, as well as related financial information such as economic events.

Investment managers can also access First Call Events via First Call Analyst, the real-time, integrated research and analytical application that combines content with functionality and navigation to help streamline the research and analysis workflow.

First Call Events, which is sourced directly from more than 5,500 public companies, can be integrated into existing Web-based systems, Intranets and Extranets using an XML data feed.

In addition to accessing First Call Events data as a content feed for use with existing event portals, customers can also have Thomson Financial create private label versions of the First Call Events platform.
