Standard & Poor’s on Thursday announced a couple of changes to its Canadian indices.
Effective May 1, Rider Resources Ltd. (TSXVN:RID) will be removed from the S&P/TSX Venture composite index. The shares of the company will be delisted from the TSX Venture Exchange at that time.
The company will graduate to the TSX to trade under the symbol “RID” effective at the opening of trading on Friday, May 2.
Effective after the close of trading on Friday, May 2, the relative weight of Telus Corp. (TSX: T) will decrease by approximately 5.16% in the in the S&P/TSX Capped Telecommunication Services Index.
The relative weight change reflects an adjustment to the float shares pursuant to S&P/TSX Canadian Sector Index methodology.
