<I>Investors to consider offer by The CIT Group</I>
(September 10 – 14:20 ET) – Newcourt Credit Group Inc. today set an Oct. 26 special meeting of shareholders to consider The CIT Group’s planned bid for the company. Shareholders must be of record by Sept. 20.
Newcourt says the time and location of the meeting will be provided in proxy materials that have yet to be sent.
