(May 5 – 16:15ET) – The Investment Dealers Association is announcing that money markets will be closed for the Victoria Day holiday on May 22.

The IDA’s Capital Markets Committee and Primary Dealer Money Market Committee announced today that the domestic bond and money markets will close for the statutory holiday.

All chartered banks will be closed on that date, and it’s also a holiday at the Toronto Stock Exchange. The IDA says the Toronto Bond Traders Association supports its decision.
