Finance Minister Paul Martin announced on Tuesday that he will present the 2001 federal budget in the House of Commons at approximately 16:00 ET on December 10.
The Finance Department has issued an advisory that, as in past budgets, this budget may contain measures that take effect on budget day. It suggests financial firms begin their planning now.
