The Toronto Stock Exchange says that while many information vendors in the Canadian market were able to process information on the S&P/TSX composite index this morning, several vendors experienced problems.

The index replaced the TSE 300 composite index at the open of today’s trading session.

The exchange says that S&P/TSX composite index levels are updated every 15 seconds, with a more detailed update every 15 minutes. Some vendors experienced problems with the 15-second updates. These vendors however, were able to process the 15-minute updates.

Investors who are still experiencing problems receiving updated S&P/TSX Composite Index levels are urged to contact their information vendor.
