The Canadian Trading and Quotation System Inc. today announced the appointment of William Braithwaite to its board.
Braithwaite, a senior partner of Stikeman Elliott, has extensive experience in securities law, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance. He has written and spoken extensively on securities law matters throughout his career. He has lectured at the University of Toronto Law School and was an associate professor and assistant dean at Osgoode Hall Law School, where he now guest lectures.
Braithwaite attained his LL.M. from the London School of Economics, his LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario and a B.A. from the University of Windsor.
